INTERNAL RULES
AND REGULATIONS FOR STUDENTS
The school maintains
permanent relations with the family to maintain order and discipline, follow
closely the development and performance of your children.
In the case of
breaches of the Internal Rules and Regulations or harm to the physical or moral
integrity of other students or teachers, disciplinary progressive measures are
taken:

Detention . They are brought to the
attention of the family. It is sometime necessary to isolate momentarily, under
supervision. These rules are to follow:
1.
Punctuality of the children in
academics and other school activities should be observed. Attend school
regularly.
Note
that a warning will be issued to students who incur five accumulated tardiness.
2.
The wearing of prescribed complete
school uniform is compulsory from Mondays to Thursday. Rubber shoes should be
worn during Fridays and special occasions only.
Students who won’t wear complete school
uniform after three warnings will be subjected to disciplinary action. After
the second notification to parents about incomplete uniform the school has the
right not to allow a student in the classroom and send him or her home Otherwise they are not allowed to enter the
school premises. New students are given 2 weeks to prepare their prescribed
uniform from the date of his/her admission to the school. When the uniforms are
not yet ready, only decent clothes are allowed to be worn- no blouses or shirts
with plunging necklines, no hanging shirts or blouses, no shorts, no mini
skirts, no denim pants or skirts with low hipline.
Wearing of slippers is prohibited.
No student is accepted at the gate with
hair dyeing, wearing of an earring or earrings, nose ring, lip ring, eyebrow
ring tongue ring and fancy belts and hairstyles are strictly prohibited.
3.
Morning, afternoon and after break time assemblies should be maintained.
4.
Any schoolwork, homework must be completed neatly, carefully and on time.
5.
School initiated, curricular activities like Portuguese, Arts and Sports should
be attended regularly.
6.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the classrooms at all times is a must. Arrange
tables and chairs before leaving the classroom during breaktime and dismissal
time.
7.
Bringing mobile phones, toys to school is strictly prohibited. The school is
not held responsible for such loss of personal belongings due to negligence. Once
caught with phone without permission might result in facing some disciplinary
measures.
8.
Respect the right of others to learn.
9.
To respect their peers and teachers regardless of ethnicity, religion or
gender.
10.
To respect the property and equipment of the school and others.
11.
To keep the school environment free from litter.
12.
To read all school notices and bring them to their parents’ / guardians
attention.
13.
Bullying. Any form, verbal or physical or any means of bullying is strictly
forbidden.
14.
Vandalism against a student’s and / or school property.
15.
There is to be absolutely no running anywhere in the school building. This is
intended to prevent needless accidents.
16.
Honesty, respect, and trust are students’ virtues highly valued and encouraged
by the school.
17.
Any form of fighting or rough play is strictly prohibited in school. If a child
experiences a serious problem with another child, he or she should notify the
nearest teacher immediately. Children should be instructed in ways to avoid
getting involved in these kinds of conflicts.
18. Parents of students opt to respect
the timing of their child/children and are aware that students may not remain
beyond the scheduled hours, except in cases of activities organized by the
school.
Monday to Friday
– Grades 1 – 2 ( 7:30 A.M. to 12:10 )
Grade 3 – 6 ( 7:30- 12:30 P.M.
Grades 7 – 11 ( 7:30
– 1:15 P.M. )
PAYMENTS
Payments must be paid
on or before the 5th of each month. Late payments will attract a
fine of 200mt.
Admission and monthly
fees include 5% tax

promote fair and assertive discipline , love, care and respect.
